PA66 performance

PA66 plastic material is translucent or opaque opal crystalline polymer with plasticity. Density is 1．15g/cm3, melting point is 252℃, brittle temperature is -30℃. Thermal decomposition temperature greater than 350℃. Continuous heat resistance 80-120 C, equilibrium water absorption 2.5%. It can resist acid, alkali, most inorganic saline solution, halogenated alkanes, hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and other corrosion, but easy to tolerate in polar solvents such as phenol, formic acid. It has excellent wear resistance, self-lubrication and high mechanical strength. However, it has high water absorption, so its dimensional stability is poor. American DuPont Company sells PA66 in Asia, which is the highest mechanical strength and the most widely used variety in PA series. Because of its high crystallinity, it has high rigidity and heat resistance.

High temperature electrical socket parts, electrical parts, gears, bearings, rollers, spring brackets, pulleys, bolts, impellers, fan blades, propellers, high-pressure sealing gaskets, valve seats, oil pipelines, oil storage containers, ropes, lashing belts, transmission belts, grinding wheel adhesives, battery boxes, insulating electrical parts, cores, wire pulling, etc.
